The AV series Dual-Band CELlite Antenna is designed for co-location applications where a cellular operator needs to co-locate with a PCS operator. This vertically polarized antenna uses spatial diversity for both PCS and cellular operation. It consists of two independent antennas within one radome, which reduces tower loading.

Another option is the AX Series Dual-Band Diversifier panel antennas. These antennas feature dual-band polarization diversity in a low-profile bottom connector package.

Because it consists of four independent antennas within one radome, it reduces tower loading and is a more aesthetically pleasing option than adding additional antennas. The high port-to-port isolation protects the receivers from transmitter noise. The antennas also feature high upper lobe suppression and null fill.

The PCS Diversifier was created specifically for demanding performance and restrictive site requirements. The low profile wraparound radome reduces wind and tower loading. It features high performance polarization diversity in a low-profile, bottom connector package. The high upper side lobe suppression helps to eliminate interference in TDMA and GSM systems, and to reduce pilot pollution in CDMA systems.

The company also introduced a new line of PCS band-specific repeaters, the 48810A (for A, B or C-block) and the 48810B (for D, E or F-block). The repeaters provide clear communications in airports, convention centers, malls, office buildings, parking garages, up to ½ million square feet per unit with zero maintenance. The band-specific filtering approach provides additional capacity with minimum interference for TDMA, CDMA, or GSM modulations. Setup is simplified with the hand-held performance monitor that comes with each unit and which provides visual diagnostics.

The Dual Polarized Side-by-Side Diversifier antenna houses two 65-degree PCS Diversifiers in a single package. This concept can be useful for a variety of site solutions. One possibility is cohabitation (two PCS operators using the same antenna) with different fixed electrical downtilts. Another possibility is air-combining which replaces one 4-channel or two 2-channel combiners, resulting in a 3dB power budget savings.

This diversifier features two polarization diversity antennas in a single low-profile bottom connector package. The two independent polarization diversity antennas can be ordered with different electrical tilts, allowing a variety of coverage options. The two side-by-side antennas feature cross polarization discrimination for minimizing correlation. High isolation (>30 dB) is maintained between all polarizations and antennas, resulting in minimal interference.

A time and money saving approach to fiber deployment

Service providers are under tremendous pressure to turn up new services faster then before and, at the same time, to do it at less expense - and intra-office fiber is one of the biggest challenges in terms of both cost and service turn-up.
