Bluetooth Solutions

• Centurion has introduced two antennas for Bluetooth applications: The BlueChip and the MicroBlue. The BlueChip is an internal antenna that offers high-gain performance with a wide bandwidth. The MicroBlue is customizable for high-volume embedded applications in either board- or cable-mount configurations.

• Tality has announced its licensable Bluetooth RF Transceiver silicon intellectual property (SIP). This SIP completes an established licensable Bluetooth IP portfolio that also includes Tality’s Bluetooth upper and lower protocol stack, system-on-chip integration platform and baseband controller SIP.

The RF Transceiver SIP conforms to the Bluetooth-specification requirements. It’s suitable for application in single-chip and 2-chip solutions with minimum external components.
