Though Visage didn't break down individual levels of investment, it said that all of its previous investors participated in the D round, including Worldview Technology Partners, which led the previous investment series with $22.8 million. The other investors in the latest round were Advanced Technology Partners, Emergence Capital Partners, Mobius Venture Capital, Palisades Ventures, Selby Venture Partners and Vesbridge Partners.

Visage provides back-end systems and operations support for the growing mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) sector, which Visage estimates will grow from a niche industry to one capturing 20% of the overall U.S. market by 2011. It currently supports three MVNOs, including the much-anticipated Mobile ESPN scheduled to launch early next year. Visage said it would use the new funds to expand its platform capabilities.
