Macroport taps into smartphone OS
Mobile technology software provider Macroport announced this week that its Universal Loader technology is now available for the three most widely used smartphone operating systems: Palm, Symbian Series 60 and Windows Mobile. The Universal Loader technology provides a plug-and-play type of environment for software developers, allowing them to forgo the complexities of the hardware, operating system and device form factor and focus on creating applications. The Universal Loader software can reside on removable memory, the mobile device or the desktop computer with which the device synchronizes.
