Check Sith out: CellForCash wants 'Episode III' phones
"Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" has not even minted its first $500 million yet, and already CellForCash.com, a Web site that buys used mobile phones, is offering to purchase the limited edition SonyEricsson phones that Cingular Wireless unveiled on April 19, one month before the movie's midnight premiere in theaters.

A statement released by CellForCash.com, which is operated by RMS Communications Group, said the Web site will pay $250 for the SonyEricsson S710a model, and $200 for the SonyEriccson Z500a phone. The S710a had been listed for as much as $399 in the last month from a variety of outlets, while the Z500a had been listed only around $49.99, though prices varied widely, based on rebates, service plan commitments and other potential discounts.
Both of the devices were released as part of Star Wars-related promotions by Cingular, which also included the earlier releases of online mobile games and ringtones connected to the blockbuster prequel/sequel.
James Moseur, CEO of RMS Communications Group, said in statement, "Star Wars fans who bought these phones but now may have other needs will be able to recoup a significant amount of their investment and put that toward another cell phone model."
CellForCash.com recycles phones, and then re-markets them around the world. Phones that cannot be re-sold are either donated to shelters and 911 programs, or are recycled and disposed of in an environmentally responsible fashion, according to the company statement.
