Available exclusively to Cablevision subscribers, the Optimum Store Online--which currently offers electronics products like digital cameras, MP3 players and home networking equipment--will now feature a dedicated toll-free number that connects callers with a Sprint sales representative. For each line of Sprint PCS service activated, customers will receive a $70 Optimum cash rebate that can be used on Cablevision video, voice and Internet services.
"Cablevision is showing great innovation in the bundling of its core services," said Dave Bottoms, Sprint's vice president of strategic partnerships, in a statement. "The availability of Sprint PCS service through unique programs like the Optimum Store Online will have significant appeal to Cablevision's base of tech-savvy customers."
Last month, Sprint announced it would partner with Time Warner Cable to launch a Sprint PCS-branded wireless service in Kansas City, Mo.
