Mobile Media acquires Overloaded
The Mobile Media Company, a Norway-based producer and distributor of mobile games and other content, announced that it has acquired game developer Overloaded from Endemol, a firm based in the Netherlands.

The move further strengthens Mobile Media’s presence in the mobile gaming arena as mobile-based gaming communities are emerging and online gaming portals are becoming increasing popular, according to a statement from Mobile Media. Overloaded brings it arsenal of games for Java, Symbian BREW and i-Mode systems to the deal, but also relationships with several international carrier giants, such as Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange, and 3.
Though no longer subsidiary of Endemol, Overloaded with continue to partner with that company in the future, the statement said. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
