Powered by Intercasting’s Rabble application, the mobile blogging service is Cingular’s second social networking offering. Last month it announced it would incorporate popular portal MySpace with its text messaging service.

Cingular is offering the service for $3 a month to customers with Java phones and data connections. Photos taken with a camera phone and text entered through the keypad can be uploaded to a personal “channel,” which goes live over both the World Wide Web and the mobile Internet. Users can access other users’ content over the phone and search out users with similar interests. The service is also location aware, adding physical networking elements to the virtual networking portal.
