Today, we each work and play in an information- driven society. If you are like me, on any given day, you receive multiples of phone calls. Behind each of those are dozens of voice-mail messages. In addition, you rack up countless e-mail messages that further extend your communications range. Then, of course, you have the traditional reams of fax messages and bundles of mail a la the U.S. Postal Service. All of these informational messages are accompanied by numerous industry publications, The Wall Street Journal and important white papers. In short, you must stay on top of all of this communicated information to remain effective in your job as well as to keep from getting buried. Beyond this, you have to keep a pulse on what is going on with your competitors and which technologies are emerging that may have some impact on your customer base. After this, you have all of the rigors of your daily responsibilities.

However, in the course of your normal business activities, you also may need immediate information on a subject that you have read along the way. Was that in that white paper you read last week? Last month? Was it in The Wall Street Journal or an industry publication? You need to lay your hands on that information immediately whether it is a specific technology or an industry experience. You need to know what has been other carriers' experience with prepaid services? Or maybe you need to know the latest developments regarding third-generation systems. Or maybe you need a vendor's address and phone number.
Aside from having a photographic memory, you need a tool to track down this information quickly. Wireless Review has launched a tool designed to assist you with your daily rigors. In November, we opened our web site. The address is www.wirelessreview.com.
I invite you to check in and see all of the resources we have included for your benefit. The current issue is registered on the site. If you are looking for an article you have read in our magazine this year, recent articles are available in full text, and the full complement of articles since the magazine started publishing should be available in coming months. Each article in the archives also is indexed according to a topic area to speed your search.
If you are looking for a particular company and contact number, check our buyers guide index. You can search by product category or specific company name.
If you want to update your subscription, you can do that on-line as well. Or if you just want additional information about Wireless Review magazine or our writers, we also have included tailored pages on those subjects.
But there is more. There are a number of sections still under construction and partnership arrangements in the final stages. As Wireless Review enters its second year, our web site will become an important part of a vital wireless synergistic product offering.
So check in and let us know what you think. Also, if there is information that you would like to see included in our evolving web site, let me know. Like you, I may get a lot of phone calls and e-mails, but it is the one from you that matters the most to me.
