Survey Says?

We asked 100 people to name something they want to do over their mobile phone, and not a single one of them responded “Play ‘Family Feud.’” But AT&T Wireless is bringing the long-running game show to wireless anyway. The carrier's interactive “Family Feud” game allows owners of Web-enabled phones to compete head-to-head with other players, recreating the TV experience save for the actual family ties (strike one), cash prizes (strike two) and pervy kisses of erstwhile host Richard Dawson (talk about addition through subtraction). The game's clearly designed as a mindless time-waster (kind of like the original “Family Feud”), but come on — this is the kind of application that will spur subscriber growth? Show me… “Hell no!”
