Airspan Networks' PacketDrive technology gives wireless-service providers the ability to deliver high-speed Internet access and high-quality voice services to small- and medium-size businesses as well as high-end residential customers. With initial speeds of 512kb/s and planned speeds in excess of 4.6Mb/s, the technology offers high-data performance for customers, efficient use of spectrum for providers and low-cost network deployment. It combines an always-on IP port and multiple carrier-grade quality voice lines in a single, low-cost package. The technology can be deployed as an alternative to a traditional wired network or as an extension to a service provider's existing DSL roll-out.
