Correction:

In “Up for Grabs” (Dec. 15, 2001), Tahoe co-founders Anthony Alles and Arthur Line sold Shasta Networks to Nortel, not Lucent. Also, Alan Cohen is vice president of marketing. In “Will BellSouth Return to CDMA?” (Dec. 15, 2002), there were several errors and disputed information. Gary Forsee served as head of BellSouth International for one year, not two. Likewise, the photo looks incredibly like Ackerman because it is. The caption misidentified him as Forsee. Finally, although SBC owns 60% of Cingular, it doesn't hold controlling interest in the SBC-BellSouth joint venture. According to a BellSouth spokesperson, both companies have equal representation.
