Adaptix adopts new management team
Broadband wireless vendor Adaptix has named a new management team, led by President and CEO Mike Pisterzi, who formerly was CEO of Transat Technologies, Photuris and AccessLan Communications. "In order to optimize and scale Adaptix to take advantage of the massive opportunity in the wireless broadband space, we've assembled a multi-national executive team with global experience that has done it before," Pisterzi said in a statement. "With this team, there was no learning curve and no hesitation, meaning we've been attacking the market opportunity from day one." Pisterzi guided at least two of his previous firms to acquisition. Photuris was acquired by Mahi Networks (now Meriton Networks), and AccessLan was acquired by Advanced Fibre Communications (which itself was later acquired by Tellabs).
