ArrayComm joins WiMAX Forum
ArrayComm said yesterday that it has joined the WiMAX Forum in an effort to promote its smart antenna technology as in the WiMAX standardization process.
ArrayComm claims its smart antenna software can boost range on WiMAX networks by a factor of two and capacity by a factor of four.
Last week ArrayComm won a powerful advocate in Intel, which agreed to push for smart antenna support in the upcoming WiMAX mobile standard based on IEEE 802.16e specifications.
