Georges Smine is responsible for Nominum's strategic direction and products for VoIP and next-generation networks. He brings to Nominum over 17 years of experience in marketing and engineering products for the mobile and service provider industry. Prior to Nominum, Georges held senior positions at Tellme Networks and Ecrio. He was VP of Marketing at Ecrio where he headed marketing activities pioneering the adoption of presence, instant messaging, and packet push-to-talk in the mobile industry.

He previously served as the Director of Worldwide Strategic Sales for the Sun | Netscape Alliance assisting customers with re-engineering business processes to adopt the efficiencies brought by Internet technology.

Georges came to Netscape after spending over 4 years in lead software engineering positions at Oracle Corporation developing business applications.

Georges has an M.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
