Daniel Kelly Daniel (Dan) P. Kelly, 46, is executive vice president of global products at Tellabs. In this role, Kelly has global responsibility for Tellabs’ products, including research and development, product line management and product-specific marketing. Previously, Kelly was executive vice president of transport products. He also served as executive vice president of core products at Tellabs. Kelly joined Tellabs in 1985 and has held a series of increasingly responsible positions in product engineering and research and development. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and a Master of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago. He is a member of Eta Kappa Nu and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Lincoln Foundation for Performance Excellence. |

Hardik Bhatt Mr. Hardik Bhatt’s appointment as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) was announced by Mayor Richard M Daley in February 2006. Mr. Bhatt is also the Commissioner of the Department of Business and Information Services, the City's primary technology planning, implementation and maintenance organization. As the Chief Information Officer and the Commissioner of the Department of Business and Information Services (BIS), Mr. Bhatt’s role is protect City’s existing investment in Information Technology while identifying and implementing new and innovative technology solutions that deliver efficiencies in service to the citizens of the City of Chicago. Specifically, Mr. Bhatt strives to implement Mayor Daley's vision of a city government that benefits from an assimilation of best practices from both the public sector and the private industry by raising the level of service provided to citizens, businesses and tourists. As the CIO of the City of Chicago, Mr. Bhatt oversees several Technology Implementations, Mobile Solutions and Information Sharing projects. This primarily includes improvements in collection and sharing of information across various City agencies and dissemination within agencies and to the general public. Also of high priority are streamlining City's various business processes to attract qualified firms to partner with the City, integration of various enterprise systems such as for Revenue, Finance and Procurement, Human Resources, Inspection and Permitting, and Customer Service Requests. He is also responsible for implementing a Geographic Information Services (GIS) that provides digital maps, photographs and up-to-date data on all property City-wide. Furthermore, Mr. Bhatt ‘s objective will be to make as many services available as possible to the public via the City's web site, www.cityofchicago.org and continue to evaluate options for city-wide wireless broadband connectivity. |

Jeong Kim
Dr. Jeong Kim is President of Bell Labs at Alcatel-Lucent. Dr. Jeong Kim originally joined Lucent Technologies in May 1998 when Lucent acquired Yurie Systems, Inc., a high-tech communications equipment company, which he founded in 1992 and served as its Chairman and CEO. During his tenure at Lucent, Dr. Jeong Kim initially served as the President of Lucent's former Broadband Carrier Networks. In 1999 he was named Chief Operating Officer and later President of Lucent's Optical Network Group. He left Lucent in 2001 to join the University of Maryland faculty, with joint appointments in both the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He rejoined the company in April 2005 as President of Bell Labs. |

Bin Shen Bin is responsible for Mobile Broadband Product and Partnership Management. He leads the product management, product marketing, strategic partnership and eco-system development across devices, internet services, business and consumer applications, and content management and delivery. Previously, Bin led the wireless broadband strategy, planning, market development and incubation activities at Sprint. He played an instrumental role in defining the vision of Wireless Interactive Multi-media Services, completion of the next generation mobile broadband business plan and the selection of Mobile WiMAX as Sprint’s 4G technology platform. Mr. Shen has a MBA from the University of Rochester and a BS degree in Finance from Golden Gate University. |

Perry
LaForge Perry LaForge is the Founder, Executive Director and Chairman of the CDMA Development Group (CDG). The CDG is a trade association comprised of over 120 of the world’s leading wireless operators and manufacturers. At the CDG, Perry is responsible for overseeing the expansion of CDMA technology throughout the world and for leading the evolution of the technology through the CDG’s subcommittees. Currently, there are over 500 individuals working on CDG teams. Perry has led the development and worldwide commercialization of CDMA since the first proof of concept trials in 1988. He was instrumental in the introduction of CDMA as a second digital standard around the world and in its evolution to next generation digital technology. He has over 24 years of experience working with high-technology companies. As vice president and partner of the international management-consulting firm of Pittiglio Rabin Todd and McGrath (PRTM), Perry oversaw the company’s growth from twenty to over four hundred employees and led the firm’s expansion into various domestic and international markets. Perry has participated in many industry committees. He has been a speaker, provided keynote addresses, and moderated panels at conferences in over twenty countries and has worked with government officials throughout the world to develop telecommunications policies. He has also lectured in numerous educational forums. He is a frequent guest columnist for a number of publications and has appeared on broadcast interviews about the wireless industry, including CNN, CNBC, Chinese Television Network, Bloomberg Business News and Dow Jones. He is frequently quoted in a number of publications, including Forbes, Fortune, Reuters, The Wall Street Journal, Wireless Week, RCR and BusinessWeek. Thompson Jeff Thompson is the co-founder and the technology/operations leader of Towerstream. Thompson has created a new model for delivering reliable bandwidth to the commercial market. By leveraging second-generation multipoint fixed wireless technology, Towerstream has built an expandable network that is 99.99% reliable. Thompson represents Towerstream in the WiMAX Forum. He is frequently quoted in media because of his expertise in WiMAX, Fixed Wireless, and 802.16. Prior to founding Towerstream, Thompson was founder and Vice President of Operations of eFortress, a privately held ISP. In 1995, Thompson founded EdgeNet Inc., a privately held internet service provider, and was Vice President of Operations through 1999. EdgeNet Inc. was sold in 1997 to Citadel Broadcasting. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from UMASS. |

Shankar Narayanaswamy Shankar joined the company in May 2007 with over 20 years of experience in designing and implementing new products and services. Prior to joining the company, Narayanaswamy held several technical management positions in network engineering and architecture, including the leadership of Covad Communications' network engineering and architecture group. He also served as director of network systems at Sapias, Inc. Narayanaswamy was founder and CTO of Telemesis, which delivered end-to-end services for wireless remote access and management. Prior to that, he spent five years at Bell Labs, the research arm of Lucent Technologies (now Alcatel-Lucent). |

John Sauer John Sauer is director technical marketing at Tellabs’ global marketing group. In this role, he is responsible for network evolution, with a concentration on Carrier Ethernet. Previously, Sauer worked on packet product strategy for the Tellabs® 7100 optical transport system. Prior to joining Tellabs, Sauer held variety of managerial and engineering positions at Motorola and Bell Laboratories. Sauer is active in the Metro Ethernet Forum and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Sauer has more than twenty years of technical and strategy management experience in the computer and communications industry. He holds five wireless packet networking related patents and has one patent pending. Sauer holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science from Purdue University.

Tom
Bechly Thomas Bechly is director of enterprise network engineering for Verizon Business. In this role, Bechly is responsible for engineering key Verizon Business data networks, including the Verizon Business Converged Packet Architecture (CPA) network. The CPA network supports Ethernet access, Ethernet Virtual Private Line (EVPL), and Virtual Private LAN Services (VPLS). Bechly also has engineering responsibility for the Verizon Business enterprise network. This is both the administrative network for Verizon Business internal systems and the command and control network for management access to equipment deployed in support of Verizon Business products and services. Before assuming his current position, Bechly was responsible for network architecture and engineering for the company’s global packet network as well as the domestic transaction transport network. Bechly also was responsible for dial access engineering and MAE® services engineering. MAE is a registered trademark of Verizon for Internet exchange services, a key component of the Internet infrastructure where data is exchanged among Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Prior to joining Verizon Business, Bechly held software development and network engineering positions with British Telecom and Tymnet where he was responsible for communications protocol and operating system kernel development. Bechly holds a bachelor of arts in English literature from the University of Illinois and a master of fine arts in music from Mills College in Oakland, Calif. |

Kennedy Michael Kennedy, Managing Partner of Network Strategy Partners, LLC, helps leading companies create and implement network industry strategies. Recently, he helped incumbent and new entrant service providers improve the profitability of their service offerings. Michael helps systems vendors create business cases in support of their marketing efforts, and service providers and enterprises develop network architectures. Fred
Ellefson As Vice President, Global Marketing, Fred Ellefson works to position ADVA Optical Networking’s innovative Optical+Ethernet portfolio of products in the global marketplace. He is responsible for expanding the visibility of the company through all traditional and emerging marketing platforms. Fred joined ADVA Optical Networking upon the company’s October 2005 acquisition of Covaro Networks. There, he served as Vice President of Marketing and developed and trademarked that company’s “Etherjack” brand. He also defined the Ethernet demarcation product category through trade-publication articles, speaking engagements, customer presentations and outreach to industry analysts and journalists. Fred has more than 25 years’ experience in marketing and planning next-gen products for converged voice and data networks. Before joining ADVA Optical Networking and Covaro, he served as Vice President of Marketing with Rapid5 Networks. Prior to that, he spent 14 years with Alcatel in increasingly responsible roles, including positions in product-line and research-and- development management, followed by Vice President of Transport Marketing and then Vice President of Portfolio Planning. Fred began his career at Bell Northern Research, where he held development roles in the transmission-products division. Fred holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Alberta at Edmonton in Canada. |

Martin Taylor Martin Taylor has spent over 20 years in the telecom and network equipment industries, in product marketing, engineering, technology planning and business development. Since joining MetaSwitch in 2004, he has been responsible for developing the company's IMS technology strategy and led key technology initiatives in hosted VoIP services, Web Services interfaces and Web portal evolution. Martin's prior experience includes the role of founding CTO at CopperCom, where he was widely recognized as an early pioneer in Voice Over Broadband for his leadership of the ATM Forum standards work on Loop Emulation. In previous roles at Madge Networks and at Marconi, he was instrumental in significant business successes in areas such as Token Ring switching and passive optical networking. Martin is a graduate of the University of Cambridge, England with a degree in Engineering. |

Howe Thomas McCarthy-Howe has twenty years of experience in telecommunications product development. He is currently an independent consultant to service providers, enterprises and equipment vendors in the design and development of next generation communications equipment and services. Thomas has held senior management and engineering positions at industry leaders such as Comverse, Versatel Networks, PictureTel and Aware. As a member of the PictureTel engineering team, Mr. Howe designed audio and video software of the first PC-based video conferencing system, as well as software for the original version of NetMeeting, and as Aware Inc.'s software architect for the first commercially available ADSL chipset. In 2007, Thomas won the O'Reilly Emerging Telephony Mashup Contest, and in 2008 received an VON Innovator's Editor's Top Ten Pick. In addition to his writing and teaching, he currently serves on several technical advisory boards and boards of directors. |

Brian Kracik As director of worldwide telecommunications markets for Oracle Communications, Brian Kracik is responsible for establishing and executing industry and solution strategy. He serves as the team lead for strategic initiatives focused on emerging operator opportunities. With more than 16 years of telecommunications experience, Kracik is a frequent speaker on the subject of service delivery platforms and next-generation network technologies and is well-versed in the business and network aspects of global operators. Prior to joining Oracle, Kracik spent three years with BEA Systems and five years with Sun Microsystems where he drove solution-selling initiatives directly into key accounts and served as an industry expert providing sales support for the carrier account teams worldwide. While leading 3G account planning efforts for North American and Asia Pacific regions, Kracik evaluated and created standards-based solutions with independent software vendors and network equipment providers to meet the carriers' needs. Previously, Kracik held various roles with wireless and wireline service providers including McLeod USA, Sprint Cellular, 360 Communications and Alltel. He managed a team of engineers in the financial planning, design, build-out and optimization of wireless markets in Virginia and North Carolina, and he also led the implementation of facilities-based wireline markets across an eight state region in the Northwest. Limena Marco joined Sylantro as president and chief executive officer in 2006 with extensive international communications and business management experience. Pasko Doug Pasko is Principal Member of Technical Staff in the Verizon Network & Technology Organization (the organization responsible for developing FiOS, the industry-leading all fiber to the premises telecom, Internet, and entertainment service.) Doug’s current focus at Verizon is on research and development in new technology innovation, industry leadership and advanced service platforms, including network embedded security platforms, edge technologies and application level services (i.e. content/media distribution and P2P). Most recently, Doug identified the potential benefits of P2P and stirred Verizon's interest in embracing this technology. Driving the change, Doug engaged Verizon in the DCIA where he co-founded the P4P initiative for P2P industry advancement. Throughout his career, Doug has always felt an affinity for supporting internal and customer-facing sales and marketing efforts, delivering to Verizon millions in annual cost savings through innovative architectures and vendor management. Chris Daniel Chris Daniel is Chief Technologist within the HP Technology Solutions Group (TSG), Communication, Media, and Entertainment (CME) vertical. Since joining HP in November 2006, Daniel has led technical business development activities with major telecommunications carriers. During this time, Daniel has been engaged in a variety of initiatives including: IMS, SDP, home consumer electronics integration, RFID, and gaming. From 2002-2006, Daniel served as Vice President of Business Development for Leapstone Systems, developing converged service management and delivery solutions for voice, data, video, web, and content services. Daniel led technical sales, partnership, go-to-market, and standards activities for Leapstone internationally. Before 2002, Daniel held various positions for a large service provider. He has over twenty years of telecom industry experience in design, deployment, and support of voice and data networks for large corporations worldwide. He has extensive experience in migration of communication networks from circuit to packet switching. His background includes roles in Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Testing, Training, and Technical Support. Ken works with SAS customers in the communications and media industries to leverage Business Intelligence and advanced Analytics for competitive advantage. As the market leader in analytics, SAS solutions are deployed in almost every large telecommunications and media company in the world. Allred David Allred is senior vice president of marketing and product management at Sezmi. Allred brings Sezmi a unique blend of marketing and strategy consulting experience coupled with executive management experience in marketing, product management, and corporate development. Before joining Sezmi, formerly known as Building B, Allred was vice president of marketing and product management at Clearwire Wireless Broadband. While at Clearwire, Allred was instrumental in building the company into the leading wireless broadband service provider in the fast growing Wimax market. Vince
Vittore Vince Vittore is a program manager in Yankee Group’s Enabling Technologies Service Provider group with an expertise in broadband solutions. Vittore covers several areas within the broadband access market, tracking both fiber- and copper-based technologies. In the fiber space, Vittore examines topics ranging from the adoption of broadband passive optical network (BPON) and gigabit passive optical network (GPON) to the emergence of new business models created by high-bandwidth technologies. Vittore provides comprehensive coverage of DSL, including ADSL, ADSL2+ and VDSL2. He also has a heavy concentration on the IPTV segment. |

Kevin Morgan Kevin Morgan is Director of Marketing for the ADTRAN Carrier Networks Division. In this role, he is responsible to develop and introduce marketing strategies to improve business, identify new market opportunities and ensure the effective promotion and development of the ADTRAN products. These products include broadband solutions, carrier ethernet, digital subscriber line (DSL) equipment, network management systems, and fiber optic products focused on the global marketplace. A native of McDavid, Florida, Kevin attended Auburn University where he received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Auburn University. He also holds an MBA from the University of Alabama. Kevin began his career with BellSouth in 1987 and moved through a variety of job responsibilities over the next several years. He has been involved in advanced technology efforts since becoming part of the BellSouth Science and Technology department in 1992. Kevin joined ADTRAN in 1996 and has held assignments of increasing responsibility in Product Management, Marketing and Customer Adovacy. |

Fellah Adlane Fellah, Eng. MBA is CEO and founder of Maravedis Inc. a world-leader and pioneer in Broadband Wireless and WiMAX market research and analysis. He is a leading industry analyst and authored various landmark reports on WiMAX, Broadband Wireless and Voice over IP (VoIP). Mr. Fellah is regularly asked to speak at leading wireless events and to contribute to various influential portals and magazines such as Telephony Magazine, WiMAX Trends, WiMAX.com, to name a few… Fellah is a member of the Program Advisory Board for the WiMAX World conference since 2004 and an active member of the World Communications Association International and the European Broadband Wireless Association. Prior to founding Maravedis, Fellah held various positions at Harris Corporation in charge of market intelligence and business development for several product lines. |

Crick Waters Crick leads Ribbit’s strategy and business development in order to empower developers in the new frontier of voice, web, and computer convergence, to bring the value of voice to their individual markets. Prior to starting Ribbit, Crick led development and delivery of consumer voice and data services including fiber to the home, VoIP, DSL, and WiFi for AT&T Consumer Services. Before that, he was Director of Value Added Services at NorthPoint Communications where he was responsible for developing North Point’s product strategy for delivering services over the company’s high-speed data network. Crick has served on the Boards of Directors of the DSL Forum and International Packet Communications Consortium. He has B.S.E.E and M.B.A degrees from Duke University, and a M.S. in Nuclear Engineering. |

Scott
Hoffpauir As Chief Technology Officer, Hoffpauir is responsible for guiding the technical vision and direction for BroadSoft as well as promoting continuous product innovation. Prior to co-founding BroadSoft and serving as Vice President, Engineering since 1998, Hoffpauir was Director of GSM Development at Celcore (DSC/Alcatel USA). In this role, he was responsible for all product development on the GSM switching product, including system architecture, product requirements, software development, hardware development, system test/integration and product/customer support. Hoffpauir played a key role in setting up customer trials and providing sales support and served as representative to the GSM SMG standards body. Before Celcore, Hoffpauir was senior architect for Nortel's GSM and Inter-Exchange Carrier switching systems. Hoffpauir holds multiple patents in the GSM, SIP, call processing and switching areas. He is a graduate of the University of Louisiana Lafayette. |

Michael Temkin Mr. Temkin runs Hands-On's global operations. Prior to joining Hands-On, Mr. Temkin worked for Yahoo! where he was responsible for the Yahoo! Mobile platform and product engineering group. Before Yahoo!, Mr. Temkin managed Earthlink's portal platform group, which was responsible for building the mobile platform and products, in addition to the infrastructure for cross-platform personalization, content and single-sign-on. Mr. Temkin also managed the Excite Mobile team, which was responsible for building a suite of products that integrated with Excite@Home's desktop and set-top content. Mr. Temkin has an AB in Physics from Harvard. |

Pearson Chris Pearson is the President of 3G Americas, LLC. In his role as the spokesperson and senior operating officer of the corporation, he is responsible for the integration of strategy and operations in the areas of technology, marketing, public relations, finance as well as public and regulatory affairs. As President of 3G Americas, Mr. Pearson represents 3G Americas Market Representation interests within the 3GPP organization. Mr. Pearson came to 3G Americas from the Universal Wireless Communications Consortium (UWCC) where he served as Executive Vice President in charge of the strategic management of the technology consortium. Prior to joining the UWCC, Mr. Pearson held the position of Strategic Alliance Manager for the Advanced Network Services Provider Program (ANSPP) at AT&T Wireless Services in Kirkland, Washington. Additionally, prior to AT&T Wireless, Mr. Pearson held several senior level technical marketing positions at GTE Telephone Operations. Throughout his twenty-year career in telecommunications, Mr. Pearson has provided lectures, technical marketing training, and speeches for technology audiences throughout the world. Mr. Pearson holds a Masters in Business Administration from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Finance from the school of Business at the University of Washington. |

Jack Field Jack M. Field was named Vice President of ADC's Global Connectivity Solutions Business Unit in Oct. 2001. He has been a career Product Manager with ADC, managing every Global Connectivity Solution product line including the world-leading DSX products. Under Field’s leadership, ADC has developed breakthrough next generation Connectivity products such OmniReach Fiber-to-the-Home, MSO RF Worx, Broadcast Multimedia and Ethernet Connectivity solutions. In Nov. 1997, Field was promoted to Director of Copper Connectivity products and served as GM of two ADC acquisitions. He has held numerous other positions within the company, serving as Asian Market Manager, Global Product Manager and Global Program Manager. Since 1999, he has also co-authored the long-range ADC strategic plan. He joined the company in 1982. Field actively supports ADC’s Foundation, which serves the social service needs in ADC employee communities. In addition, he is an ADC steering committee member of the University of Minnesota’s Digital Technology Center, a University of Minnesota department focusing on next generation communication technology. Previously, Field spent two years with the Carlson Marketing Group as an advertising copywriter. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting and a Master of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Field is a guest lecturer at the CSOM, judges CSOM MBA competitions and hires CSOM MBAs for the ADC Global Product Management organization. Field and his wife Karen live in Shorewood, Minn. Their three daughters attend the University of Iowa, the University of Minnesota and Minnetonka High School. |
Stuart Benington Stuart Benington is responsible for identifying and targeting strategic application opportunities and for optimizing the Tellabs portfolio through product evolution and business development activity. Prior to this role, he held a variety of marketing, engineering, and product planning positions across several Tellabs product groups, including Tellabs’ Broadband Media Group and Network Solutions Group. Benington has more than 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and holds a BS degree in economics and computer science from Purdue University and an MBA from Northwestern University. |

Greg Crosby Greg Crosby is the Founder and CEO of The NextGen Marketing Group and an experienced senior Marketing, Strategy, Business Development, Sales, and General Management executive. Mr. Crosby has over 25 years experience in senior leadership positions with major U.S. firms such as Sprint, US WEST (now Qwest), TCI Cable (now Comcast), and McLeodUSA. He has been instrumental in launching new businesses, products, and markets for the companies he has worked with during his career, and has also worked successfully in turnaround assignments. Mr. Crosby has led multiple organizational functions as a senior executive including Product Management, Product Development, Pricing, Channel Development, Market Research, Market Management, Advertising, Public Relations, Sales Training, Business Development, Sales Operations, Sales Management, and Corporate Communications. He has excelled at pioneering new strategies for industry first launches to create competitive advantage and also worked extensively at developing turnaround strategies for companies experiencing eroding market share or margin. He has been part of the senior management team reporting to the Chairman, CEO, or President in many of these positions and had to operate at both the macro and micro levels. |
