Most Innovative Fixed-Mobile Convergence Service: XO Communications is the winner of the 2008 Telephony Innovation Award for Most Innovative Fixed Mobile Convergence Service for its XO Anywhere offering: “This is an excellent use of FMC beyond the typical ‘saves money’ approach,” said Danny Briere, CEO of the TeleChoice consultancy, and a member of the Telephony Innovation Award judging panel.
Most Innovative Technology Deployment: Verizon is the winner of the 2008 Telephony Innovation Award for Most Innovative Technology deployment for its FiOS Gigabit Passive Optical Network rollout.
