WOW cleans up Ameritech acquisition

WideOpenWest (WOW) has completed purchasing the Ameritech New Media cable television assets owned by SBC Communications that serve 310,000 subscribers. Announced last May, the acquisition closed after receiving approval from 100% of the 114 municipalities serviced by the company.

Headquartered in Castle Rock, Colo., WOW builds and operates fiber-optic networks to deliver digital cable TV, broadband telephone services and high-speed connections to the Internet.
