VoiceStream integrates ViAir solution across GPRS
VoiceStream has decided to integrate ViAir’s WirelessInbox messaging application into its iStream wireless data service so that it can offer customers mobile access to their corporate and personal e-mail.

Unlike other enterprise solutions, WirelessInbox lets VoiceStream customers sign up for always-on access to corporate and personal e-mail just as they might sign up for landline Caller ID service. Customers can go to VoiceStream’s Web site, click on the WirelessInbox link, configure the service for personal or corporate usage, and download the software client.
Consumers can decide to mobilize their own corporate account, and carriers no longer have to go through IT departments to mobilize workers, said Bruce Chatterley, CEO of ViAir. VoiceStream’s iStream service starts at $2.99 per month.
