Verizon is introducing a package called “Veriations All,” which includes a package of local phone services, long distance, regional toll, DSL and wireless available on one bill. Verizon will introduce the package in more markets in the coming months.

“The incremental revenue will be significant,” said Maura Breen, Verizon’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer, during a company conference call. “We’re targeting a half billion to $1 billion over the next five to six years.”

For Verizon’s wireless business, which outperformed the rest of the industry in the second quarter, bundled packages will help reduce churn and take advantage of customers already served by Verizon’s local and long-distance offerings. Verizon wants to tie those customers into a wireless plan. The bundled plans would provide an annual $250 savings for customers.

“We’re giving simplicity and convenience,” said Breen. “This is exactly what our customers have told us they want.”
