Ubiquity and Convedia interoperate at SIPit event

After successfully demonstrating their interoperability at the SIPit SIP Interoperability Test Event this week, Ubiquity and Convedia announced they would jointly bring to market SIP-based solutions for wireline and wireless service providers. Ubiquity will contribute its SIP Application Server, which is both a deployment platform and a programmable, standards-based application creation environment. Convedia will add its CMS-6000 and CMS-1000 next generation media servers. Ubiquity also plans to make its Speak Conference Director application available in conjunction with Convedia's media server. The intent is to speed the delivery of multiple IP applications using common platforms for both application creation and media processing.
