Ubiquity, Acme Packet sign Z-Tel

Z-Tel Communications said it would use Ubiquity and Acme Packet as strategic partners in its planned voice over IP service. Z-Tel will use Ubiquity’s SIP application server and Acme Packet’s Net-Net session border controller in its service of VoIP services. The services will include a second generation of Z-Tel’s Personal Voice Assistant.
