T-Mobile announces LNP agreements with national carriers
T-Mobile announced porting agreements with AT&T Wireless, Cingular Wireless, Nextel Communications, Sprint PCS and Verizon Wireless. T-Mobile said the reciprocal agreements establish consistent rules for the implementation of local number portability, which takes effect on November 24. Additionally, T-Mobile has created a dedicated porting call center and is educating consumers via its website.
