TWT reported net losses of $32.5 million for the fourth quarter and $81.2 million for the fiscal year 2001. The fourth-quarter loss is in the wide range of 22 to 48 cents per share analysts projected, according to Thomson/First Call, but is more than eight times greater than the 3 cents-per-share loss reported in the fourth quarter 2000.

Time Warner Telecom, which provides voice and data services to enterprises in 44 markets, took a $6.8 million restructuring charge in the fourth quarter and expanded its networks in 5 markets, leading to the wider loss, company officials said.
