Taqua signs on Michigan, Pennsylvania Independents

Taqua, announced that Kaleva Telephone, an Independent telco in Manistee County, Michigan has bought four iX7000 softswitches to replace its legacy Siemens DCO network. Additionally Pennsylvania Telephone, based in Oval, Pa., has purchased an iX7000 and Taqua's Courier voice mail system to cap and replace a Nortel DMS-10 switch. In the Kaleva deployment, one iX7000 will used a host switch in the Kaleva exchange, while the Brethren, Wellston and Dublin exchanges will each have an iX7000 operating as a remote.
