Tandberg TV helps telcos with video
Tandberg Television announced the launch of a complete system designed around low-bit-rate video business opportunities for telcos. The system, being demonstrated at the International Broadcasting Convention this week, combines products from several vendors and operates on the Windows Media 9 Series. Key components of the system include very low bandwidth real-time encoding, IP multicast of live TV, content capture and distribution, video-on-demand, EPG portal, set-top boxes, live encryption and DRM.
