SureWest wins cable franchise
SureWest Communications was granted a franchise last night to provide digital television service in Roseville, Calif. The carrier, which is building one of the more advanced networks in the U.S., intends to provide more than 260 channels of video when the service launches in either December 2003 or January 2004.
