Sprint lands two government contracts

Sprint last week announced two government contracts: one with the U.S. Air Force to manage tactical communications for bases in Southwest Asia, and another with North Dakota to handle the state government’s toll-free traffic. With the six-month, $10.5 million Air Force contract, Sprint will handle data and voice communications for three Air Force bases in two countries in Asia. In North Dakota, Sprint outbid AT&T to become the sole provider of the state’s 200 toll-free lines.
