Spediant wins Canadian contract

Spediant Systems said it has signed a deal with Wightman Telecom, a Canadian independent telco, to provide its EML 8000 system. Wightman is using the system, which combines a symmetric, high-density DSL modem with an inverse multiplexer that can support multiple copper pairs, to connect its wireless nodes to collocated COs of other telcos in the Ontario towns where it provides competitive services.
