Sonus wins Wisconsin carrier
Powercom has deployed Sonus Networks' GSX9000 Open Services Switch, an Insignus and Softswitch, and the Sonus Insight Management System to provide IP voice services. Powercom, a Beaver Dam, Wis.-based carrier will use the Sonus equipment to provide long distance, toll-free calling and calling card services. Plans are currently in the works to support local voice.
