In an effort to accelerate installation of broadband fixed wireless, Hybrid Networks and Sencore have collaborated on a modem signal meter for consumer premises equipment [CPE].

Built specifically for the Hybrid system, the meter includes global positioning system [GPS] capabilities that let an installer measure and analyze upstream and downstream signal quality to determine the optimum position for the end-user CPE and facilitate installations.
