Satyam Infoway adds another gateway
Satyam Infoway, an Indian Internet firm, launched its third of 17 proposed Internet gateways on Nov. 30 in India. The gateway found a home in Hyderabad to complement the two previously launched gateways in Bombay and Ahmedabad. It's part of Satyam's plan to set up 17 gateways across 13 Indian cities as a means of easing bandwidth congestion to improve ISP and ecommerce quality. The gateways are expected to have 9.0 Mbps of capacity.
