Rugged, wireless handhelds for the industrial market

Wireless handhelds from Itronix are designed to make field computing faster and more efficient for mobile professionals in high-demand or extreme user environments. Several models were demonstrated in Atlanta with updates and gadgets to show off their true ruggedness. The fex21, Itronix’s most recent handheld personal computer has been upgraded with a Toshiba 129 MHz processor, external graphics controller, SDRAM memory, Intel StrataFlash, Li-Ion battery with full wireless support. The Husky FS4 handheld computer is an “hourglass” mobile computer with Intel StrongARM 192 MHz processor, Microsoft Windows CE and ruggedized engineering.
