Riverstone CFO steps down
Robert Stanton, chief financial officer for metro Ethernet equipment vendor Riverstone Networks, will leave his post at the company as soon as a replacement can be found, the company said. Stanton has been with the company for just over three years. Riverstone’s annual report has been delayed while the board of directors reviews its accounting procedures in the face of an investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The delay of the annual report prompted one of the company's lenders to claim Riverstone defaulted on one of its loans. Riverstone denies the charge.
