Preferred Voice names new CEO, lands $1 million

Speech application vendor Preferred Voice appointed former Microsoft executive Latif Nathani as chairman and CEO, and also announced that it has raised $1 million in a private placement. Nathani previously was director of marketing and business development for the Natural Interactive Services Division (NISD) of Microsoft.
