Powell names Libertelli senior legal advisor

FCC Chairman Michael Powell today named Christopher Libertelli senior legal advisor, replacing Bryan Tramont, who recently was named FCC chief of staff. Previously, Libertelli had served Powell as legal advisor for wireline competition-related matters and in other capacities in the Wireline Competition bureau. Prior to the FCC he was an attorney with a Washington, D.C., communications law firm. In addition to Libertelli’s appointment, the commission announced that Sheryl Wilkerson would join Powell’s staff as legal advisor for wireless and international issues. Previously, Wilkerson had served as vice president of legislative affairs for wireless technology vendor ArrayComm.
