Phase I for Phase Seven and NTS independent testing

National Technical Systems and Phase Seven Laboratories, a privately owned startup laboratory for carrier-class interoperability testing, announced this week they have formed a strategic alliance to provide independent, third-party testing and certification services to telecommunications companies worldwide. NTS does physical and environmental testing of telecommunications equipment, including emissions, fire, corrosive environment and earthquake testing and certifies National Electrical Building Standards (NEBS) compliance. Phase Seven Laboratories will focus on interoperability and compatibility testing. Together the two companies bring about $60 million of capital equipment to the testing process.
