Nortel Passport tops market
Nortel Networks said its Passport multiservice switching portfolio has received the number one market share ranking in the MSS category for 2003, based on reports from three analyst firms. Dell'Oro ranked Nortel tops in worldwide MSS ports shipped for 2003 with 42.3% share while In-Stat/MDR claimed the company has a 33.8% share and Synergy Research Group put the number at 34.7%.
