NextWave receives $2.5 billion in debt financing

UBS Warburg has committed to providing NextWave $2.5 billion in debt financing that will fund the construction of the carrier’s third-generation CDMA2000 wireless network. The firm also will serve as NextWave’s financial advisor and assist in completing its reorganization plan.
