NextWave launch subject of skepticism

Brokerage firm Lehman Brothers said in a report it doubts NextWave will be able to pull off the launch of its high-speed wireless data network, according to Reuters.

Specifically, the firm is skeptical as to whether the company will emerge from bankruptcy and concerned over NextWave's strategy and financing plan.

In the end, Lehman Brothers expects to see the NextWave spectrum go to those that bid for it during the re-auction, including Verizon Wireless and AT&T Wireless partner Alaska Native Wireless.
