Nextone lands FWD deal
NexTone Communications said VoIP provider Free World Dialup is using its Multiprotocol Signaling Switch to allow peer-to-peer connections for FWD users. The MSW, a core session controller, lets FWD abstract call routing and other call control policies from the call signaling regardless of their choice of signaling protocol (H.323 or SIP) or endpoint type.
