NetGear combines latest protocols
NetGear announced a new ADSL firewall router that combines the 802.11g standard for wireless LANs and ADSL 2 and ADSL 2+. The DG834G combines an ADSL modem, a router, a switch, a firewall and a 802.11g wireless access point into a single box. Additionally, the company announced a companion wired gateway, the DG834 ADSL Firewall Router, which also supports ADSL 2 and ADSL 2+.
