Net Insight gets flexible with interfaces
Net Insight released of a 4-port STM-1/OC-3 access module for its Nimbra media networking platform. Aside from allowing media groups to carry both legacy and new video service, the module provides a migration path for media operators that presently run an SDH/SONET based network. For carriers, it lets them overlay their existing STM-1/OC-3-based services on to Nimbra's platform, allowing video service together with ATM or POTS-based services.
