NATS, NATS everywhere

The quickly developing session border control market is starting to sort itself out via customer wins. This week both Kagoor Networks and Acme Packet announced that Go2Call and CommPartners, respectively, would use their session control solutions. In the case of Kagoor, Go2Call will use the vendor’s VoiceFlow remote Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal application as part of an expansion of its prepaid long-distance calling card service.

CommPartners, a Las Vegas-based broadband ASP will using Acme Packet’s Net-Net session border controllers to deliver hosted IP services including VoIP to its broadband partners. The Net-Net units will provided hosted NAT traversal, topology hiding, and access control.
