Movaz inks two ILEC deals, wins RUS listing

Movaz Networks announced that both Indiana Fiber Network and South Slope Cooperative Telephone have deployed RAYexpress add/drop multiplexers and RAYextender optical amplifiers in their respective networks. South Slope is Iowa’s largest independent co-op while IFN is a consortium owned by 18 Indiana independents. Both contracts, which total more than $2 million, call for both products to be used in triple-play offerings. Also, Movaz announced that both products have been accepted and included on the Rural Utilities Service’s List of Materials.
