Motorola unveils 5 GHz broadband wireless architecture

BOSTON–

Motorola on Monday announced it has developed a fixed wireless point-to-multipoint system operating in the 5.8 GHz unlicensed frequency bands and plans to begin marketing it immediately to carriers targeting consumers and small businesses.
