Motorola, AOL explore AOLTV via digital set-tops
Motorola and America Online are collaborating to make AOLTV available via Motorola’s digital set-top boxes for both existing and we digital cable subscribers.

The goal is to make AOLTV applications available as software downloads to both DCT2000 and DCT5000 digital set-tops. When available, service providers would be able to offer AOLTV features such as e-mail, instant messaging, Buddy List and Buddy Chat to over 18 million of deployed set-tops.
