Mission complete, AMS CFO resigns

John Brittain, Jr., executive vice president and chief financial officer of American Management Systems, will leave the company at the end of next month after being brought in 18 months ago to lead the company’s restructuring efforts. James Reagan, the company’s corporate controller will take over as CFO. Since May 2002, Reagan has served as AMS senior vice president and corporate controller, responsible for all worldwide financial reporting, accounting, tax, insurance, procurement and billing functions, as well as internal IT systems development and facilities. Prior to joining AMS, Reagan was vice president, operations finance for Nextel Communications.
