MFN’s bankruptcy ultimatum pushed back

Metromedia Fiber Network announced today it has received an extension on its commitment letter for $235 million financing – a letter the carrier said was scheduled to expire today. Last week MFN warned that if it did not receive an extension today, it would be forced to declare bankruptcy. The commitment letter is now extended until Sept. 17.
