MetaSwitch named market leader in Class 5 switching
MetaSwitch has captured 58% of the total revenue in the Class 5 Packet Switch category, according to Infonetics Research's latest quarterly report. On a unit basis, MetaSwitch shipped 16 of its VP3500 Series softswitches, generating $5.9 million in revenue. Infonetics is projecting the overall market for next generation voice products to grow from $1.3 billion in 2003 to $4.8 billion in 2007.
